5785 THE YEAR OF DOUBLE GRACE & OPEN WINDOWS FOR DIVINE EXPANSION AND PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT!
Greeting, As we have stepped into a new Hebrew Year of 5785 as well as 2025 on the Georgian calendar, we are stepping into a window of time and opportunity. What does an opportunity mean? An opportunity is an appointed or favorable time to advance forward. In 5784, the Lord showed me that we were in a Revelation 3:8 NKJV season for the Year of the Open Door for Revelation, Realignment and Renewal for Prophetic Fulfillment! According to Revelation 3:8 NKJV… “I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it; for you have a little strength, have kept My word, and have not denied My name.
In some ways we are still in that season as we continue to progress from the door to the window. The Lord has been issuing this clarion call to His Church to come up higher. In this place of ascension, there is a new vantage point and, new levels of revelation. As we’ve come through the door and now look through the windows (opportunities). GOD desires to enlarge our vision and break every limitation so we can see clearer. The Lord longs to show us the things to come so we can be prepared and ready to receive them. The verse the Lord gave me for 5785 is Psalms 18:19 KJV… He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. The Theme He gave me for KBCMI is…5785 THE YEAR OF OPEN WINDOWS WITH DOUBLE GRACE FOR DIVINE EXPANSION AND PROPHETIC FULFILLMENT!
In this new Hebrew year 5785, the double fives in this year carry a special emphasis on multiplied grace or the empowerment of GOD. When you put the fives next to each other you get twenty-five, you get the Hebrew word Hen which means to behold. When you think of a window, it’s a prophetic representation of vision. I believe the Lord is increasing our vision, especially in His seers and prophets. As we behold the Lord, He will show us the things to come to declare bold. We must not forget that we are in the decade of the mouth. There is a greater grace and empowerment on the words we speak and declare. This is why since 2020, there often has been a “war of words” concerning many different situations on a personal, national, and international level. It’s important to be mindful and intentional of the words we speak. Not only will we see things to declare but, there will also be situations to behold that will shock us and grip us. There are things coming that we never thought possible. The word unprecedented will become normal to hear it so anchor yourself in the Lord for 5785.
Another insight concerning the five or the Hebrew letter Hei (hey), is that there is an appointed time and season for us to put our hands to the things of GOD, what He has spoken over is. This is not a time to sit back in fear, we must move boldly and confidently. The righteous are as bold as a lion (Proverbs 28:1). It’s time to partner with the word of the Lord, activate it and, see it manifest. This season is one of Double Grace - It Begins with grace and ends with grace.
Right now we’re in a season where the Lord is watching what we do with what we have been given. In Matthew 25, Jesus talks about the parable of the talents. In this parable, a man was leaving away on a trip for some time. He decided to gather his three servants and distribute his money to them while he was gone to tend to it. To one he gave five talents, another man he gave two, and the last servant he gave one talent. The servants with five and two talents went out and invested their talents and were able to multiply and double what they had. The servant who had one talent went and buried it in the ground out of fear.
When the man came back from his trip he accessed what the servants had done with the talents. He was happy to see the servants with five and two multiplied what they had been given. He blessed them and promoted them saying, His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord. Matthew 25:21 NKJV
When the servant with one talent told the man that he had buried for fear of losing it, the man was so furious that he gave his talent to another and banished him away. We’re in a time of promotion and demotion. The Lord is weighing his leaders and his people, to see what they have done with what they’ve been given. He’s measuring and judging our faithfulness and stewardship. We should always be increasing and multiplying because, it’s the nature of GOD. You can’t stay small when you’re connected to GOD Isaiah 60:22 NKJV…A little one shall become a thousand, And a small one a strong nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.
Lastly, I want to share some insight for Genesis 8. In Matthew 24:37-39 NKJV Jesus makes an interesting reference back to Noah’s time… 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
This is the way it will be when the Son of Man returns.” Jesus is saying here, what took place back in Noah’s day will take place as the day approaches of his coming. More and more we’re going to see a clear line and distinction between the righteous and unrighteousness. It will not be hard to tell the difference between the godly and ungodly.
One of the things that enabled Noah to be successful and caused him to get through the flood was, he was a righteous man and he was obedient to the voice of GOD. Can you imagine being the only one who was living right for GOD, when everyone around you was living like heathens. Noah continued to live right in the face of such unrighteousness and wickedness. Even though he looked crazy building a big boat and prophesied a rain was coming like never before, he never gave up on the assignment GOD had given him. He had unshakeable faith in GOD. We must be the same way in this time. May the voice of GOD be the loudest voice we hear and believe in this time.
In Genesis 8:1 NKJV it says, Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the ark. And GOD made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided. “When you live righteously and stay obedient to GOD, He will never forget you. I want to encourage you today that GOD has not forgotten you or the promise spoken of for you but, that he has remembered you like he did Noah. As he remembered Noah GOD sent a wind to begin to shift and dry up the waters after a great time of testing. In Genesis 8:6 NKJV it says, So it came to pass, at the end of forty days, that Noah opened the window of the ark which he had made. On day 41 it was the dawning of a new day.
In 5785, not only it is a window of opportunity but it’s also a new time and season for you. As Noah sent out the dove (Holy Spirit) a few times waiting for the go ahead, it eventually brought back a fresh olive leaf. As you enter into 5785, there’s new vision and fresh oil, for the new place GOD has brought you into. Just as he did for Noah, GOD is establishing new covenant and reminding you of His promises that has been established in the heavens. As Noah followed the instructions of the Lord, he stayed in obedience, and trusted where GOD would lead him and his family. This is what caused him to overcome and endure.
As the elections have passed in the United States the people have spoken and GOD has honored it. The election was simple and it came down to either voting for light or darkness. Light has prevailed… Glory to GOD so let us now be about our Father’s Kingdom business and take back everything the devil has previously stolen from us.
Blessings,
From the desk of Chief Apostle\Prophet L.R.Gooden Jr.

Watchman-- one who looks out or sees from a height, with the view to warning of impending danger or to give any information, good or bad ( Ezek. 33: 2- 7 1Sam. 14: 16; 2Sam. 18: 24- 27, Ps. 127: 1; Isa. 21: 6- 12
Priests and Prophets of the Lord were often called watchmen.
Ezekiel was especially distinguished with this title (Ezek. 3:17; 33:7).
The duties of a watchman were threefold:
1. To wait and watch for what God would command and give in warning (Ezek. 3:17- 21).
2. To watch over and superintend the people (Ezek. 3:17- 21 Isa. 56:10).
3. To warn the people for God (Ezek. 3:17- 21).
Death is the penalty for sin, all sin, every sin, regardless of who the person is or what connection with God we used to have (cp. Gen. 2:17; Rom. 1:29- 32, 1Cor. 6:9- 11 Gal. 5:19- 21).
2. If the prophet does not warn the wicked and they die in their sin, their blood will be required of the prophet.
3. If the wicked is warned and they repent and turn from sin, their life will be saved.
4. If the prophet warns the wicked and they do not turn from their sin, then the prophet is clear from their blood and all responsibility (Ezek. 3:19).
5. If the wicked is warned or not warned does not turn from his sin, they will die in sin and be lost (Ezek. 3:19).
6. If a righteous man or woman turns from their righteousness, commits sin again, and God lays a stumblingblock before them and they die in their sin, all their righteousness which was done will not be remembered (Ezek. 3:20; Rom. 8:12- 13).
7. If the prophet has warned the righteous man or woman and they remain in righteousness, both will be saved (Ezek. 3:20- 21).
8. If the prophet has not warned the righteous man or woman and they turn from their righteousness to live in sin again, the prophet will be held responsible for their being lost (Ezek. 3:20).
9. If the righteous man or woman turns from their righteousness to live in sin again, they will be lost if they die in their sin whether they have been warned or not (Ezek. 3:20- 21 18:24- 26 33:12- 13 Rom. 8:12- 13 Gal. 5:19- 21).
10. The righteous man or woman can and will die in their sins if they go back into their sin again and does not repent again (Ezek. 3:20- 21 18:24- 26 33:12- 13 Rom. 8:12- 13).
11. The righteous man or woman who dies in his or her sins will be as much lost as they would have been if they never turned from them (Ezek. 3:20- 21 Rom. 6:14- 23 8:12- 13 Gal. 5:19- 21).
12. The only way a righteous man can continue in salvation is by continuing in righteousness (right standing with GOD) instead of sin (Ezek. 3:20- 21).
Does this mean that bad things will never happen to us? No—for we live in a fallen and broken world; in and amongst human weakness.
The favour and goodness of God does not mean that we will not ever experience spiritual or physical battles.
However, it does mean that in the midst of the trial, we can expect His blessing to accompany us and to fall upon us.
Let’s go to Psalm 23 to discover what it means to have the goodness and mercy of God follow us every day of our lives.
1. Faced with Need?
THE LORD is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. (Ps 23:1, AMP)
In times of need, we can know Him intimately as our shepherd and provider—more than at any other time.
2. Tired and Weary?
‘He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.’ (Ps 23:2-3)
In times of exhaustion, we can trust God to lead us to Divinely-appointed places of rest and refreshment.
3. In a Dark Place?
‘Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.’ (Ps 23:4)
As we journey through dark times in our lives, we can be miraculously free of fear. In the darkest of places, the richest treasures of His Presence are available to us.
4. Surrounded by Enemies?
‘You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.’ (Ps 23:5)
In times of spiritual warfare, we can experience a feast of God’s goodness. In these times, we can receive a fresh infilling and empowering of His Spirit.
GOD SAID: "The land of Canaan which I give unto the Children of Israel" Numbers 13:2. "Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours. There shall be no man able to stand before you" - Deuteronomy 11:24-25, Joshua 1:3.
TEN SPIES SAID: "We be not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we" Numbers 13:31. "We saw the giants. We were in our own sight as grasshoppers" - Numbers 13:33.
TWO SPIES SAID: "Let us go up at once, and possess it. The Lord is with us, fear them not" - Numbers 13:30; 14:9.
Twelve men walked side by side, saw the same country, witnessed the same conditions. They all gave a report of what they saw. But ten men had a negative, fearful attitude. Two had a confident, faith attitude. Ten voted for defeat and failure. Two voted for success and victory. A right and wrong attitude is what prevailed.
How about you? Do you trust God even when the majority doesn't?
"God has given you all things that pertain to life and godliness" 2 Peter 1:5.
"He has blessed you with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ" Ephesians 1:3.
"God is the giver of every good and perfect gift" James 1:17.
"God delights to give you richly all things to enjoy" 1Timothy 6:17.
"Therefore let no man glory in men for all things are yours." 1 Corinthians 3:21.
Are you praising God for these wonderful gifts which are yours? Cease glorifying your defeats, your lack, your sickness, and begin to glorify God in your victories, your supply, your health. It is high time to convert your excuses into testimonies!
On which ballot are you voting? For victory or defeat? For success or failure? Boldly affirm the scriptures that assure of conquest in all spiritual battles and you'll experience them. Be hesitant and reluctant about your provisions in Christ and you'll be defeated.
The bolder your confession of faith, the greater will be your victories. Praise God for all things that are yours. Not "I wish I was blessed," but "I am blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ Jesus!" Hallelujah, it is so!
Psalms 85:6...Will You not Yourself revive us again, That Your people may rejoice in You?
Isaiah 60:1...Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
Romans 13:11....And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
Ephesians 5:14...Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light
ITS SAFE TO SAY THAT THE CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST IS SLEEPING, when you're sleeping you can't see nothing, when you're sleeping you can't hear nothing, when you're sleeping you can't say nothing, Amen.
SLEEP in itself is not bad it's a necessity BUT "Do not love sleep, lest you come to poverty; Open your eyes, and you will be satisfied with bread" (Proverbs 20:13).
It is not wrong to sleep, but it is wrong to love sleep. Sleep is not an end in itself, but is a means to an end. We sleep for rejuvenation so we can work again the next day.
God tells us to wake up. We all need physical sleep, so there is nothing wrong with sleeping at the proper time. But when it is time to wake up, it can be disastrous to us to stay sleep.
This message on revival is intended to wake us up from our sleep before destruction comes. That's right I said destruction.
JESUS has already suffered and shed His blood on the cross to buy us back. So why are we not back, because we need a revival to wake us up.
● I want you to Understand this: Jesus suffered and died on the cross to buy us back from Satan’s power and control. When He died on that cross He went down to hell, took hold of Satan and his demons, stripped, spoiled and took back from them the power and whatever else they had usurped. Jesus defeated the devil thoroughly, undressed him and his demons, made a public show of them and marched them down the street. Jesus left the devil with nothing. I mean nothing. He's not a lion but roars like as a lion.
● I don’t care what the evil spirits may have done to you, they may have crippled you, blinded you or made you to lose your mind, made you do evil, or given you a disease to make you die early
● When Jesus shed His blood and died, He carried it all in His body and every spirit that would give you trouble was undressed and defeated, and power was taken from them. Rejoice, these demons no more have power; Jesus took it away from them as He defeated them by His blood fulfilling the prophecy that a Son born of woman would crush the serpent’s head that would wound his heel.
Today, many Jews still celebrate the feast of Purim. The name Purim is derived from “the lot” which a Gentile, Haman, cast concerning the fate of the Jews when they were in Persia under King Ahasuerus.
Haman, the villain in this story in the book of Esther, hated the Jews and sought to exterminate them. He got King Ahasuerus to allow him to issue a decree to annihilate all the Jews in one day — the thirteenth day of the twelfth month of Adar. But God used Queen Esther and her uncle Mordecai, both Jews, to turn the tables on Haman and save the Jews.
Haman was hanged on the very gallows that he had constructed for Mordecai! Then, the king allowed Queen Esther and Mordecai to issue a counter-decree to allow all the Jews to defend themselves and destroy their enemies in one day — the thirteenth day of the twelfth month of Adar!
So instead of the Jews being exterminated on that fateful day, their enemies were destroyed! God turned an evil day for the Jews into good days. He turned their mourning into rejoicing and gave them victory over their enemies.
Listen, God can do the same for you today. He only wants you to remain in your position of rest in Christ. You see, because of Jesus’ finished the work at the cross, you and I are seated in heavenly places in Christ, far above every principality, and evil assault the devil can throw at us. (Ephesians 2:6) Just as Mordecai sat within the king’s gate, and refused to stand up and bow to Haman, let’s not “bow” to the devil by being persuaded to move from our position of rest in Christ. Don’t allow him to get you worried, frantic remember he's homeless, he has no place, GIVE NO PLACE to the devil.
Queen Esther was also in a position of rest before Haman was executed. (Esther 7) She was seated on the Kings couch as Haman pleaded with her for his life. While doing so, he accidentally fell over the couch where the queen was. The king, thinking that Haman was assaulting his queen, sent him to the gallows!
So remain at rest in Christ’s finished work, and He will turn your evil day into days of rejoicing and feasting!
In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and He shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. Isaiah 27:1
In the book of Job, the whole context is an ongoing debate between Job and his friends. Finally, God announces that He has had enough and demands an answer.
Where was thou when I laid the foundations of this earth? Declare if thou hast understanding. Job 38:4
God goes on to give Job an entire discourse about leviathan. "And now, Job, who are you, who dares not arouse the unmastered leviathan, yet who dare resist Me, the beast's Creator; to My face? Everything under the heavens is Mine; therefore who can have a claim against Me?"; Leviathan is the climatic revelation of the book of Job. The fact that the Bible denotes an entire chapter, Job 41, describing leviathan to him indicates his importance.
God uses the sea-monster, Leviathan, to reveal to Job that Job's problem is pride. There is a strong evil spirit named Leviathan. Leviathan is an evil demonic spirit of pride.
God reveals the monster. Some call him a crocodile or something else, but the Word calls him a dragon, sea-monster, or sea-serpent.
In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and He shall slay the dragon that is in the sea. Isaiah 27:1
Strong's Concordance gives this definition:
Leviathan- livyathan, (3882), a wreathed animal or serpent, a large sea-monster. The constellation of the dragon, Draco; also as a symbol of Babylon: mourning.
Dragon / Dragons- tanniyn (8577), a marine or land monster, sea-serpent or jackel; sea-monster, serpent, whale.
The context suggest some form of aquatic monster which dwells in the sea. In the scripture, the sea represents nations of people. There is a dragon in the sea (people or nations), and God is going to slay that dragon.
The nations of this world are consumed by this dragon or sea-monster. This sea-monster is pride. This evil, demonic spirit of pride manipulates and controls the masses of this world.
He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride. (Of all the beasts, he is the proudest, he reigns supreme over all the pride of the earth.) Job 41:34
Another way of stating this is, 'he looks down on all who are haughty; he is a king or ruler over all those who are proud'. Pride and leviathan are practically synonymous. It is hard to separate them.
The spirit of Leviathan's most crucial work is in the area of keeping people from receiving the things of God and of the Holy Spirit and from moving into the very presence of Almighty God. Leviathan's primary purpose and goal is to stop all true moves of the Holy Spirit, and all spiritual growth in the lives of the Believers. He wants to stop the flow of the Anointing.
The modern church today is largely asleep because of the spirit Leviathan's work. He loves to eclipse things. Mythology associates him with the eclipse of the sun. He wants to eclipse the S-O-N, Christ Jesus, in your life. Leviathan wants to eclipse the True and Holy things of Almighty God in your life.
Leviathan resides in the Holy Place, and is a counterfeiter.
We are three part beings; we are a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body. Our soul is a type of the Holy Place where Leviathan works. He is at work in our soul; in our mind, emotions, and will.
The spirit of Leviathan attempts to keep us from entering the Holy of Holies, into the very presence of God. No man could go there except Moses and the High Priest; and then only once a year. This is the third veil, and Leviathan does not want us there. This third veil was rent when Jesus died on the cross. This was the veil between the Spirit-filled realm and the very presence of God. Here Leviathan stands to block entrance.
The spirit of Leviathan attempts to snuff out the lamps (knowledge and understanding); cut off the bread (the manna); and he tries to keep us from offering up daily incense (prayer in the Spirit). He does not want us to move in the Holy Spirit; to have words of knowledge, speak in tongues, or any other spiritual gift. He will choke us off with spiritual deafness and blindness, causing us to be tongue-tied. Leviathan will imitate the Holy Spirit and cause false gifts, healings, and even miracles to manifest in the believers.
Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron (His nostrils belch forth smoke, thick as the fumes of a seething pot.). Job 41:20
The smoke from Leviathan nostrils is false prayer and false worship at the altar of incense, and he is commissioned to counterfeit the genuine pentecostal experience. Because the person is so bound up with pride, he cannot really praise God. He is too important, too bound up in himself, to give any real praise and worship to God.
His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal (His arrogance and haughtiness stems from the tight sealed scales covering his body.). Job 42:15
Leviathan's scales are so close one to another that no air can come between them. The scales are joined one to another and cannot be pulled apart. In scripture; air, breath, and wind are synonymous with the Holy Spirit.
The reason many people get so shut in is because of the effects of Leviathan's tight coils around them, inhibiting the moving of the Holy Spirit. They cannot hear or discern the Holy Spirit, and they say they never get a word from the Lord or move in the gifts. The reason is that no air of the Holy Spirit is able to get in because this demon has such a strangle hold.
The spirit Leviathan wants us to have the counterfeit; and if we get that and are satisfied with it, he has us. Leviathan in the pastor, teacher, evangelist, etc. charms or hypnotizes the people, and they are deceived and seduced into believing they are operating through the Holy Spirit. Today, many are experiencing counterfeit gifts. Many are requiring deliverance from false, error filled ministries. Increasingly, deliverance ministries are having to cast out spirits of false tongues.
One of Leviathan's chief jobs is to mock, come against, and block deliverance and/or deliverance ministries. Most people who fight the deliverance ministry have powerful leviathan demons; and are, therefore, raely delivered. Many of the ministers who refuse to open up to the ministry of deliverance are being controlled by a leviathan spirit.
The reason pastors, teachers, evangelist, etc. accept leviathan's lies is because they refuse to believe that they may have demons and are in need of deliverance. It's not a 'shame' to have demons, the shame is not acknowledging, repenting, and getting rid of it through deliverance. Instead, they teach the people 'Christians cannot have demons'.
The 'true' deliverance of God is casting out demons according to Mark 16:17- 18: And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; . . . they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Mark 16:17-18
The Bible says that if we do not love the truth, God will cause us to believe a lie. The only way to get rid of the demonic influence of Leviathan is to 'cast him out in the Name of Jesus'.
I pray that this teaching will enlighten us to not be ignorant of satans devices but to grasp the truth and function in the truth. Amen.
Just like the root determines the fruit, your heart determines your spiritual advancement, and your blessings in life. That is the root of all spiritual encounters because God sees our heart before He hears our voice. He responds to the state of our heart much more than He responds to our utterances and our acts.
In Acts 8:21, the apostles encountered a man who offered them money to buy the power of the Holy Ghost and Peter said to him, “Thou hast neither part nor lot in this matter: for thy heart is not right in the sight of God. ” Which means, if your heart is right your part is guaranteed! The state of your heart determines the measure of your part. It is not the volume of your prayer that determines the volume of your blessing but the state of your heart. Men may commend your utterances but God answers your heart.
Nothing happens on this earth without a root in our heart. Every happening around us is a function of what is happening within us. We can never encounter a change on this earth until there is a move from our heart. It is the move of our heart that determines the changes on our earth. There is nothing a man cannot accomplish when his heart is in the right place with GOD.
In Jeremiah 29:11 God said, “…I know the thoughts that I think toward you…thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” But in verse 13 He said, “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart…” What moves God to perform His great thoughts towards us is measured by the state of our heart. So, ensure that your heart is connected, ensure that your heart is fervent, pure and right before God. When God finds a man or woman with a right heart, He has found the right man or woman to be anointed, empowered and blessed!
The word “FAVOUR” simply means: “friendly or kind regard; goodness; approval; loving-kindness.”
The FAVOUR of God simply means that, God will:
Regard you as his FRIEND – “No longer do I call you servant but my friend.” (Jn 15: 15)
Be KIND to you – “For he is Kind even to the unthankful.” (Lk 6:35)
Shine his GOODNESS on you – “Do you know that the Goodness of God leads you to repentance.” (Rom 2 : 4)
APPROVE you – “Salute Appelus approved in Christ.” (Rom 16:10)
Show LOVING-KINDNESS towards you – “I will show my loving kindness toward you says God.” (Jer 9:24)
OPEN FAVOR of God will give us:
UNEQUAL ADVANTAGE – This UNEQUAL ADVANTAGE will enable us to DEFEAT Satan, who is already a defeated foe, SUBJECT his demons under us, who have already been made subject to us through Christ and for us to KNOW the PLANS and PURPOSES of God, for which Satan will never know. (Rom 3: 1 )
POWER OF ATTORNEY – God will give us to REPRESENT HIM, so that we can ACT on his behalf, SPEAK HIS WORD for him and OPERATE in the same POWER and ANOINTING as He did. Satan cannot override us, because we now become the REPRESENTATIVES of Jesus Christ here on earth. (Acts 9:15)
TO GO AHEAD OF HIM – Jesus will SEND us forth ahead of him to PREPARE the way as John the Baptist did. We will go to every place that God wants his PRESENCE to be made manifest. Jesus will send us to places to ESTABLISH APOSTOLIC BASES, in our homes and churches, that will allow his PRESENCE to be seen and felt. (Lk 10:1)
Exodus 16: 4-6 - God provided manna to the Israelites through supernatural means
1 kings 17:1-7- God fed Elijah during the famine through the Raven
2 kings 4: 1-7- God helped the widow to clear her debts through supernatural means
Luke 5: 1-9 – Jesus helped Peter to catch fish through supernatural means
Matthew 17:24-27-Jesus provided money for paying tax through supernatural means
KEYS TO SUPERNATURAL PROVISION
God has established keys which can connect a believer to supernatural provision.
We must create Room for the word of God. God spoke to Abraham and he obeyed God’s word. We cannot just build our lives on personal opinion and preferences.
We must Pass the God sent Tests. God tested Abraham and he never failed the test. Some of the things we go through are nothing but God sent tests.
We must operate with Extra Ordinary obedience and faith. What God asked Abraham to do demanded extra ordinary faith and obedience.
We should become people of Prophetic confession. Notice what Abraham confessed: V5 -We will come back to you; V8 -God will provide the lamb for sacrifice. Notice that Abraham got what he confessed. What you confess becomes your portion.
We should have room for Sacrificial giving. It's sacrificial giving which opens the door of supernatural provision.
WHAT IS SACRIFICIAL GIVING?
It is giving which leaves us with pain
It is giving which leaves you with nothing
It is giving your very best.
In conclusion I want to emphasize the point that every child of God should have two doors in their lives through which blessings enter their environment.
What fails to enter through the natural door must enter through the supernatural door.
Breakthrough! It speaks of overcoming an obstacle that is in our way—or of prevailing over a need, a restriction or an opposing enemy. Breakthrough can also mean an achievement or discovery that leads to significant progress.
When we need a breakthrough in our lives or ministry, we turn to prayer. But what kind of prayer will it take?
6 Biblical Keys to Breakthrough Prayer
1. Seek God’s Agenda First
‘This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.’ (1 John 5:14-15)
Daniel was a godly man who read the scriptures—including the prophecies of Jeremiah. He recognised that Jeremiah prophesied about the times that Daniel was now living in and began to seek God for the answers. He knew it was time to birth that prophecy in prayer.
We need to know that we are praying God’s purpose for our lives. This means firstly praying according to God’s revealed will in the Scripture. Upon that foundation, we can also seek an intimate relationship with Father God in which we can hear His purpose for our lives and situation—and pray out of that. [2]
2. Don’t Settle for Second Best
Hannah was childless, and it grieved her. Wanting to reassure her, Hannah’s husband offered his love and personal gifts, thinking these could please her. But Hannah would only be satisfied with one thing—a baby. As a result of Hannah’s prayer, a future prophet and priest was born. Samuel would bring the nation back to God. (1 Sam 1)
When God has placed something on our hearts, then like Hannah we will be tempted to settle for the ‘status quo’ or second best. But that is the very time to passionately press in to God for the answer.
3. Pray from the Heart
Hannah cried a wordless prayer of deep groaning—and God answered it. (1 Sam 1:12-16, Rom 8:26-27)) Nehemiah shot up a prayer whilst he was going about his daily occupation. (Neh 2:1-5) These seemingly simple prayers, carried from the heart, changed nations.
There are no right and wrong ways to pray. Just real prayers.
It’s time to put aside formulas, and not to be intimidated by someone else’s style and eloquence. The prayers that God answers are real prayers from the heart, regardless of time, place or technique.
4. Pray with Praise and Thanksgiving
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. (Phil 4:6)
Paul and Silas were in a difficult situation. God called them to evangelise a city, but they were stuck in a dungeon, held in stocks. As they prayed in the night and offered up hymns of praise, God sent an earthquake to open the prison doors. (Acts 16:22-29)
When used in addition to prayer, praise is a powerful cutting-edge weapon for breakthrough. (Ps 149:6-9)
5. Don’t Give Up
Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. (Luke 18:1)
Daniel prayed and fasted for 21 days before an answer came. An angel appeared who had been battling in the heavenlies for the entire time Daniel had been in prayer. Daniel’s persistent prayers provided fuel for what God was doing on his behalf. (Dan 10)
Prayer is not a single event, but a process. Whilst continuing in prayer, we are partnering with God as Heaven’s resources, including angels, are being released that are working towards God’s answer.
Don’t give up too soon!
6. Find Others who will Agree with You
Jesus said, “…if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” (Matt 18:19-20)
Esther is known as a woman whose courage saved a nation. However, prior to approaching the King, Esther called on Mordecai, all the Jews of the city, and her own attendants, to fast before God for 3 days. Esther knew that the real power lay in God answering the prayer of those who had joined her in the fast. (Esther 4:16)
When in need of a breakthrough, find others who will join you in prayer, because there is multiplied power in agreement.
